It is easy to customize with my brand identity (colors, fonts, logo). Multiple avatars are available, with support for different accents and languages
How easy and intuitive it is! I brag constantly how quickly I'm able to produce training videos now.
This application makes video creation and content production extremely easy and fun to use. The dynamic avatars and voice quality is phenomenal and better than any competive offerings.
The lips don't sync very well on the samples we've tried to this point. You can definitely tell they are AI videos. If the quality improves, we will use it more often.
The mouth of the person does not move in 100% in sinc a lot of the time with the words it is supposed to say. Also some of the words are not pronounced properly. This makes it obvious that this is not real. The interface is not great. Trying to add more than one or two animations has never worked for me and just crashes what I am buiding. I have told customer service and got the reply to to just refresh, which was not helpful and of course I did. All in all I like the way the development of this tool is going and if you are an early adopter and do not mind these teething problems then you will enjoy the tool as I do. If you are expecting something polished then it is not for you.
Characters still look really robotic in the anunmations and with the voices. It is also unclear what Synthesia would flag as inappropriate or not (working in Pharmaceuticals all the materials we create is for educational purposes, and sometimes needs citations, so if these are not allowed I could see it becoming an issue in the future).
Adding emotions to voices for pro-level subscribers was an absolute game-changer.
I love this program!! I am still navigating all that it can do but as of right now I think this is the most user friendly straight forward TTS program I have found with authentic downloadable and modifiable vioces.
The voiceovers have been great. They still sound obviously like AI voices, but have been better than anything else that I have encountered so far. I have noticed that when doing files of more than 10k characters that it tends to cut off the voiceover part way through so I have to go back and see where it left off to cut the file in half. Otherwise, things have been great!
As I indicated in the heading of this review. It promises a lot but ultimately you get the same as with most other voiceover tools. I made the subscription payment because I needed urgent voiceovers for three of my YouTube videos and was expecting a wider variety of voices with the standard.
I am using the Clone Voice feature. I tried using the record in Revoicer feature & none of those recordings ever worked - Revoicer just comes back with an error. Unfortunately, I get stuck with the bad recordings in Revoicer and there is no way to delete them! How do I delete Voice Clones that fail?
I bought the sample package, where you could still do a costly upgrade, yet sure enough I only got 3 free voices in Italian, my language, two female and one male. They sounded so robotic, the complete opposite of what they advertised, that they were unusable and would have granted sure failure of whatever I would have employed them for. A rip off for sure.
